A BRIEF COMPANY HISTORY (1980 - 2010)

Engineering America Enterprises, Inc. is an employee owned business. The company sells, manufactures and constructs equipment for the municipal and industrial water, wastewater, and material handling industries. Engineering America serves our industries as a contractor, manufacturer and sales representative as well as providing in-house and field service. We also offer diversified packages of services and products because of our knowledge and expertise within the water, wastewater and industrial fields. Engineering America Enterprises is known regionally and nationally as a premier company.

Engineering America, Inc. was incorporated on June 18, 1980 as a dealer for A. O. Smith Harvestore Products, Inc. Aquastore® and Permaglas Tank Systems, which is now known as Engineered Storage Products Company.

Grubb Equipment Corporation was incorporated on June 1, 1983 as a sales representative and distributor for Dresser Industries-Roots Division Blower Systems, and a manufacturer of sound abatement enclosures.

Engineering America Enterprises, Inc. was incorporated in 1992 and implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). At that time it consisted of two wholly owned subsidiaries — Engineering America, Inc. and Grubb Equipment Corporation.

In 1999 a third wholly owned subsidiary was added in Colorado. Engineering America, Inc., doing business as EAI West, Inc. serves the states of Colorado, Wyoming and Utah as an authorized municipal/industrial dealer of Aquastore® tanks and aluminum domes.

In 2006 a fourth wholly owned subsidiary was added in Kansas. Engineering America, Inc., doing business as EAI Central, Inc., serves the states of Kansas, Nebraska and western Missouri as an authorized municipal/industrial dealer of Aquastore® tanks and aluminum domes.

In September of 1997, Engineering America, Inc. and Grubb Equipment Corporation together began marketing under the name of Engineering America, Inc. and were formally merged together under that name in November of 2002.

Since incorporation these companies have consistently added product lines and expanded manufacturing and services into the municipal and industrial marketplaces.
